So all about me then hey? What can I say?
I'm a quick thinking (and sometimes sarcastic), well humoured individual that strives for a challenge and always seems to be working (sorry).
I love the world of technology in all it's forms. Hardware, software and interactive. My passion is to look at all the things that technology can give and ask can I apply it to any of the problems we have here.
I think outside the box, sometimes a little too far outside. But this can bring massive benefits and cost saving to a business, as well as a wealth of features and options for staff and customers alike.
I have worked with some great companies in the past:
Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), Wyeth Medica, Proctor & Gamble, Eli Lilly, Elan Pharma, Bayer Medica, Unilever, Scotts and HP Sauce providing high end professional technology services. Especially with the pharma clients, implementing GMP, ISO and Change Control initiatives into the business.
I'm the guy that will walk into a group of people trying to solve a problem and say "Why don't you just do X?" with everyone looking at me with a 'Why didn't I think of that look' on their faces.
I have a well earned nickname of "The Tech Machine". I am a rapid worker (did I mention always working??), and seem to accomplish miracles at the speed of light (Thanks Max :).
I am currently playing with Social Networks. I am building one with a good friend, and we are experimenting with the impacts and abilities these systems have on a working environment the people in it.
Microsoft have just launched Kinect. Already my head is buzzing with low bandwidth avatar based meeting. Interactive. Hold a sheet of paper up to the camera to initiate a document transfer! Can you imagine!
